Donation Refund Policy
Social Voice Foundation ("SVF") is committed to transparency and donor trust. Since donations are voluntary contributions towards our non-profit mission, the following refund policy applies.
General Policy
Donations made to SVF are generally non-refundable. However, we understand that errors may occur. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate or accidental donations made through technical error
- Donations made without the donor's explicit consent
- Incorrect donation amount due to system malfunction
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction date with the following details:
- Full name and contact information
- Donation amount and date
- Transaction reference number
- Reason for refund request
Email your request to corporate@socialvoice.co.in.
Processing
Once we receive your request:
- We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
- Your request will be reviewed within 7 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days through the original payment method
- You will be notified of the outcome via email
Tax Implications
If a donation is refunded, the corresponding tax receipt issued by SVF becomes void. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding the impact on claimed deductions.
Recurring Donations
If you wish to stop recurring donations, please contact us at least 5 business days before the next scheduled charge.
